Apri is a combined birth control pill that contains a standard dose of estrogen, and a progestin called desogestrel which is less androgenic. It may be a good option to try if pills like Loestrin or Junel (which contain a more androgenic progestin) cause side effects like acne or mood changes.

Made my period short and regular but so heavy. Like only 2-3 days but going through a super plus every couple hours.
