Yaz birth control pill vs Hailey Fe 1.5/30 birth control pill

I had severe anxiety on this pill, and also all of the sudden got motion sick all the time. I was nauseous everyday and lost weight because I couldn't eat. It did definitely help with acne and my previously irregular periods. However, I lost 20 pounds and had to eventually stop. Within a week of stopping, my mood returned to normal and I wasn't panicking all the time. Within a few months, however, my acne got way worse and I started getting cystic acne along my jawline. I also still suddenly get motion sick sometimes, and this isn't something I ever had before.

I’ve tried the shot, the ring, different pills, this is the one. Weight gain was an important factor as was acne. I have not gained weight and have had only an occasional acne bump likely due to another cause. For birth control, just make sure you take the pill daily at the same time. I no longer experience mood swings or pms in anyway. I also do not have periods bc with my doctor’s approval, I take the pill straight through each month due to endometriosis.

Five stars because it saved my life. I have zest for life and do not intend to kill myself, but my PMDD turned me into a threat to my own safety for two out of every 3.5 weeks. I was so miserable that I wanted to be euthanized. Yaz makes me feel normal again, treat people normally again. The downside is some bloating, breast tenderness, and what little libido I had is gone. Additionally, since starting the pill I am prone to uncontrollable and unprofessional bouts of weeping when I do not feel like I need to cry. This is highly frustrating but better than living with PMDD. Generic version does not control my PMDD symptoms, brand name for me only.

I have been on this for less than a week, and I've cried more times in the past two days than I could in a year. I have been so depressed and moody, even my coworkers are noticing. It is sad. I have been debating on stopping this pill. I also have had all the worst cramps while not even bleeding. It just has not been a good week! and it is really taking a toll on me, I feel like I have my period all day everyday for the week just without the blood.

I was on another birth control, before and I was switched to Hailey Fe suddenly, I think there was some mistake with the prescription but I just thought it would be the same. After the first month I noticed my mood swings were were, I couldn’t stop crying for no reason. I have a series of bad acne breakouts which I’d never had a problem with before. I’ve been having some dizziness and headaches as well and I gained serval pounds in the first 2 weeks which was upsetting because I’m currently on a weight loss journey. I also had some cramping and breakthrough spotting at first. I’m going back to my previous one immediately.

I first went on this bc for heavy periods that gave me awful cramps (would throw up and almost pass out). I’ve always had overall regular periods, this did not change on the pill. My periods did get soo much better (lighter and only 2-3 days, maybe spotting on day 4) and the cramps were so faint, I didn’t have to take any ibuprofen or Tylenol. I was on the pill for 6 months and 3 weeks. I do feel like it heightened my emotions at times (anxious and sad) which is one reason I took a break because I had a lot going on at the time and didn’t want to deal with that (graduation, relationship problems, worried about finding a job). I’ve never really had much acne, maybe a pimple or two around my period, but I do have bacne which completely went away on the pill. I did feel bloated around 5 months on the pill, and water retention maybe, because starting the pill I was 124 pounds and at month 6-7 before I stopped it was like 129-131. This could be stress and holiday foods too though I’m just not sure. Although I wasn’t having sex during this time (we were waiting till marriage) my libido was about the same, maybe even higher. But I wouldn’t know about dryness down there or in there, I could still get like wet not trying to be tmi… but overall I would say it’s pretty good. I may end up trying it again when I’m married.
