Junel 21 1/20 birth control pill vs Junel Fe 24 birth control pill

Lots and lots of weight gain to the tune of 70+ lbs in about 12 years currently. Been on depression medication for no energy and nothing has helped

I was put on Junel Fe 1/20 in college when I was underweight and not producing estrogen (I've since recovered from my eating issues and am at a much healthier weight) and I've had no issues with Junel. I don't get a period most months, and if I do have spotting, it's rarely during the time it's supposed to come, which I don't love. Besides that, no complaints!

Effected mental health and my body

I will preface this review by saying I haven’t hit the full “3 month waiting period” for Junel yet, but so far I hate it. I’m so moody and angry all the time. I feel depressed and low. I have never felt these feelings before and the only thing in my life that has changed? My birth control. I’ve heard terrible things about the pill and I would not recommend Junel to anyone. Also I’m covered in hives and I swear they are from starting this birth control. The only thing I’m my life that has changed: birth control, but the doctor’s don’t believe me.
