Estarylla birth control pill vs Tri Lo Sprintec birth control pill

I actually really enjoyed the effect Estarylla had on my mood. It helped me through PPD (in combination with prenatals and exercise). However, it gave me nasty cystic acne, so I had to switch. Other birth controls have messed with my mood negatively, so I was really bummed to give this one up after the positive effect it had. The sex was good, too.

This birth control has been effective with stopping pregnancy while giving me light periods with little to no side effects.

Started experiencing mood changes with in a few days and it just kept getting worse

Not bad but increased anxiety being on the pill, acne was better and cramps and more regular periods you’d know when they are coming which was good but being on it for awhile increased my anxiety.

This has been my favorite pill of all I’ve been on in my 20+ years of using birth control. I have clearer skin, controlled weight, minimal period cramps, 4-5 day flow (less than my prior flow time), better moods, positive sex drive, less anxiety than when on other forms of birth control, and overall a positive experience.

I’ve had virtually no side effects since starting this birth control. I would highly recommend it to others!
