Does dianette pill cause sweating more than usual?

Dianette really worked for me - I was prescribed it after being diagnosed with polycystic ovaries but it massively improved my acne, which hadn’t been responding to medication. Unfortunately despite it working for me, I was told I couldn’t continue on it after 2+ years as it increased the risk of blood clots.

i was prescribed this at 15 as my acne was just awful, although this was the first thing prescribed, not antibiotics etc, which makes me think it wasnt thought through too well. since ive been on it for a while its difficult to notice if my bad moods and depressive states are just me or the pill, but im going to stop taking it to see if my mental health increases. my acne has improved. im still a bit spotty and it definitely did not take just a couple months to clear up, it took about 10-11 months to make a visible difference. before taking this tablet just keep a note of your depressive episodes and bad mood so you can compare it after you start the pill, because its really difficult to decipher otherwise...

I went on this for my skin and it did amazing things in terms of that- completely clear, less oil production, I could go for longer without washing my hair as less grease! However: It seemed to slow my metabolism? I couldn't eat much at all or i'd gain weight. I still had the same appetite but had to eat around 1000 calories less in order to maintain my weight! Also after around a year and a half of taking it, I started to get terrible hot flushes where my whole face would go bright red and i'd start sweating profusely! This happened more and more frequently until it ended up being every 20 minutes. As soon as I came off the hot flushes stopped, although my skin went back to being bad :( Overall: Brilliant for acne, fine for mood but lead to side effects after taking it for a while due to the build up of hormones in my body (apparently, according to my GP)
