As this is a newish pill and one which is a bit more pricey and supposed to be good for people who struggle with hormones... I was really hoping this was going to be my new pill! Sadly I found this pill to really affect my mental health more than a lot of the others I have tried. I personally have tried many many of the combined pills will the hope to find something which firstly controls my periods a bit better, doesn't affect my mood, and doesn't affect my libido. With Zoely I got all the standard issues such as a lower bad back, and some light cramping... These things I can take or leave it's not the end of the world. As the hormones are different over the course of the month, I could 100% tell when the hormones were stronger. On those days I went into a very 'numb' emotional state, then a few days later I was emotionally upset and weirdly I had no reason why!

This was a good pill although I did notice the side affects of my mood and libido they were much less extreme than using various other combined pills. Over all of the pills I have used this is probably the one which doesn’t affect my day to day life as much. I would recommend giving it a go if you are experiencing severe side effects from your current contraception. It’s not perfect by it’s a trusty middle ground!

I used this for quite a while and to be honest it seemed like it was alright. Did get a loss of libido and the occasional headache but other than that I felt it was fine. Although I have been trying different contraception and have recently gone back onto mercellion. Turns out it’s not as good as I thought. My moods are not good. I have a short temper on these and my anxiety is through the roof. It’s only when you come off something and come back a year later that actually you can tell a difference.

I am on my contraception journey to try and find a pill which doesn’t give me low libido and sore breasts! This is as close as I have been able to get. I have tried numerous contraceptives. I probably wouldn’t have moved on to the next if I didn’t get headaches now and then. Generally I don’t suffer but within a 3 month period I had a bad headache once a month around the time of ovulation. Other than a slight reduction in libido, a headache once a month and the occasional disassociation when procrastinating I think this is probably as good as it’s going to get. This is very different from lucette. When doctors say these pills are are same they are so so so wrong. Good luck all!

This was a great choice until I kept getting thrush. I only took it for 3 months but got thrush twice and I never ever suffer from this. I also had this feeling like I was going to get a uti. I never did, but the feeling was there. Overall I saw an increase in my libido… which has vanished over the past 5 years due to combi pill. I didn’t really get any other side effects and I started to feel more like myself in terms of mood and mentality. Going to try yasmin and hopefully this is the same but without the reoccurring thrush!!!

This was the first ever pill I was put on by my doctor. It was fine and worked a treat. My moods were pretty horrendous. I have a slightly fiery temper anyway but this made me and my partner clash something awful. I didn’t experience any problems with libido or symptoms in general other than mood. Although I had been on this particular pill for so long that it had actually made the skin on the walls of my vagina thin which can be a side effect. Due to this I had to have a small but still, operation to have this sorted. I only came off the pill as my doctor said it was discontinued and put me on levest. I now realise it wasn’t discontinued and they were trying to cost save.
