I began this medication at 5 weeks postpartum to prevent pregnancy while breast feeding. I was experiencing brain fog, terrible memory, complete loss of sex drive… Initially I wrote these off as part of the postpartum experience but over a year later and these symptoms were worsening and new side effects like weight gain were developing. I’ve decided to go off the pill entirely at this point.

It hasn’t been long since I stopped the pill but in just two weeks my sex drive has improved, vaginal dryness is resolving and I’m hopeful the weight gain and brain fog will improve as well.
