Whilst using it, it did what it was suppose to do in terms of protecting against pregnancy however I suffered with low sex drive, mood swings and weight gain! Which was not good at all!

I stopped the Sayana press in 2019 and my period returned 6 months later, ever since they have been irregular and I ended up bleeding 2/3 times a month, I went hospital for this to be investigated and everything was clear apart from one part of the lining where your period happens was a lot thinner than usual, but I could not get a definitive answer as to whether the injection caused this which I think it did!!! Its been more than 18 months since stopping the injection and no sign of fertility whatsoever... (I already have 1 child) also the effect on my mood and loss of service drive was so severe I didn't realise how bad it had gotten!! (My poor partner). I would not recommend this at all as it has messed up my hormones and my cycle which I am still having issues with!
