I swapped from Yasmin to Qlaira when I was suspected to have endometriosis - I took it constantly with no withdrawal bleed and was very pleased with the results. I noticed my moods levelled out after having mood swings while on other pills, my skin cleared up and I only had pain during my few days of light withdrawal bleed. Over all I was very happy with it. I was told by my doctor that is it a newer pill and only recently being used to manage endometriosis.
Hi there. Please explain the process of moving from Yasmin to Qlaira? I hear you need to start Qlaira after taking your last active pill from Yasmin? But I'm confused because Qlaira needs to be taken on the first day of bleeding? But I won't be bleeding by my last active pill. Please just explain how you transfered from Yasmin to Qlaira?

I had approximately 3 months off the pill while waiting for surgery to treat endometriosis and have my Mirena IUS inserted. My period returned within 2 months but was very heavy and painful - made me realise how lucky I was on the pill!
