I've been on this pill a long time without having any crazy side effects, however recently I've had to stop taking it as it had started to causes varicose veins. I'm switching to a lower dose pill because apparently too much estrogen can cause this. I'm not sure why it's just become a problem, I started taking this pill quite young so maybe my hormones have changed as I've gotten older. Otherwise I would have stayed on this pill forever. Only bad side effect was very decreased sex drive and vaginal dryness which caused painful sex.
