I have been diagnosed with PMDD, so my gp suggested trying the pill. Mercilon is the 4th pill I have been on. All the pills I have tried have positively impacted on my mood +++ however I have struggled with fluid retention, larger and tender breasts ( we called them gravel tits for a while as they felt full of gravel) and headaches on my pill free weeks. Mercilon has been the best of the bunch, my periods and skin have been better, mood better. But still having dryness down there, reduced sex drive and some fluid retention... which I can live with for now, but I am looking forward to coming off it next year still to begin trying for a family!
