I had been on Yasmin for years but when I went for a check-up the doctor told me I was to move to Lucette which was supposedly the same. About 6 months after I started taking it I noticed by hair was not growing to it’s full length and I had some hair loss. I was slightly anaemic and borderline overactive thyroid so put it down to those. Fast forward four years and those issues are resolved, the only other change I can put my hair loss down to was starting to use Lucette. I did have some hair loss before I started taking Yasmin, but that seemed to have approved as I was taking that. I’ve since stopped taking the pill altogether, but thinking about going back on Yasmin to see if that improves my hair.

Have had spots on my back which I’ve never had previously.
