Evra patch
The patch was great because you only had to change it once a week and it worked regardless of if you were sick- unlike the pill. I had heavy and painful periods and this gave me control and lessened the pain without stopping my periods. I did have side effects - cervix erosion, but this was after 10 years of constant use. I would recommend it but limit the time you are on it. Its not a forever contraception - but I don't think any of them are...

Experience coming off Evra patch
I stopped due to side effects and was then put on to the pill which I found unpleasant. I haven't been on contraception since and try and use medication to manage my periods.
