I had two injections of depo. I had spotting daily for the entire time I was on it. I gained weight, was very depressed, and lost libido. It was my worst experience.

I was on yasmin combined pill for about three months right after depo so hard to say about what the post-depo experience was in regards to my periods. However I proceeded to suffer from chronic cystitis for two years. Lots of investigations yielded no cause. I am certain is was hormonal sensitivity and it eventally went by itself. Possibly the yasmin was the cause, but more likely the residual effects of depo. It was horrible. I've never used hormonal contraception since.
