I think oral contraceptives can cause dermoid cysts in susceptible individuals. I had had devoped once after taking SAMBA and once after taking Lyndinette. (I had normal follicular cysts then I started taking contraceptives to prevent them, and then a teratome developed which required surgical intervention) Once it looked cancerous on UH althought it were benign 2 times but my first surgery had gone bad as doctors treated it as possibly malignant taking an otherwise healthy ovary out. If that were the protocol on my second dermoid surgery in remaining ovary I would be on artificial hormones now. So people should be aware of it. I have reported it regarding Lyndinette as a possible aderse event.

My periods got worse in respect of pain and felt depressed as well which subsided very slowly.
