Cerazette was very kind to me for the first 6-8 years of being on it. In my late 20s however (after 8 glorious period-free years!), I started spotting irregularly for no reason which was very annoying. I also noticed I was feeling angrier/ more tearful than I had previously, and the final straw was a pill-induced migraine that led to me turning my back on hormonal contraception for good (the best thing I ever did).
I'm less bloated, my moods are a lot more stable & my appetite is very much reduced. I notice an increase in appetite/irritability in the week leading up to my period, but not the whole month (which was the case with Cerazette!). Periods are a lot more manageable than I remember them being before I went on the pill, and ovulation week is a joy. I feel my body benefits massively from not relying on synthetic hormones and making my own "in-house" instead.
